LLP Amnesty scheme 2020 is applicable for Limited Liability Partnership firms. Under LLP Act 2008 each LLP need to follow annual compliance by filing Form 8 & Form 11 online at MCA Site. For non filing there is per day late fees of Rs. 100/- per form. Example : ABC LLP failed for file Form 11 for 75 days then late fees of Rs. 7500/- is applicable for LLP. This results in hardship for the business. Under LLP Amnesty scheme pening Form 8 & 11 can be filing online.
LLP Settlement Scheme 2020 was launched by Ministry of Corporate affairs via General Circular No. 6/2020 on 4th March 2020. It has been come to notice of Government that large number of LLP have defaulted in LLP Annual compliances Form 3, From 8 , Form 11 etc. To reduce hardship to business and make it ease of doing business this LLP settlement scheme 2020 in introduced.
Following LLP firm can apply for LLP Amnesty scheme. LLP who failed do annual compliances and who’s Form 3 & 4 is pending can apply for this scheme.
Under LLP Amnesty scheme 2020 late fees is reduced from Rs. 100 per day to Rs. 10 per day with capping of maximum Rs. 5000/- per from. Hence this will result in benefit to LLP in paying unnecessary Late filing fees.
Filing under this LLP Amnesty shall start from 16 March 2020 and shall remain valid upto 13th of June 20020. Due Date for LLP Amnesty scheme is 13th of June 2020.
Forms for filing LLP amnesty scheme is same form. You can download LLP Annual Filing Form from MCA site that is http://www.mca.gov.in/MinistryV2/llpformsdownload.html . For LLP filing it is advised to use latest form from MCA Site.
